Let me tell you, the first time I tried these Apple Pie Bites, I was blown away. I was in a pinch for a quick dessert, something that felt homemade but didn’t take hours in the kitchen. And when I stumbled upon this recipe, I thought, “Can it really be this easy?” Spoiler alert: it can, and it is.

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and apple pie spice.
  3. Melt the butter and coat the apple slices in it, setting them aside.
  4. Lay the crescent roll triangles on the baking sheet and sprinkle each with the brown sugar mixture.
  5. Add a few chopped pecans to each triangle for that nutty crunch.
  6. Place an apple slice on the wide end of each triangle and roll the dough around it.
  7. Brush each roll with the remaining melted butter, and for an extra pop of flavor, sprinkle a bit more apple pie spice on top.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the bites are golden brown and your kitchen smells amazing.
  9. Let them cool for about 5 minutes, then dig in!

Notes

Want to take these over the top? Serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle some warm caramel syrup on top. You won’t regret it!
