- 1 teaspoon apple pie spice (plus a little extra for sprinkling)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/3 cup chopped pecans
- 1 small Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced into 8 wedges
- 1 (8 oz) tube of crescent rolls
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and apple pie spice.
- Melt the butter and coat the apple slices in it, setting them aside.
- Lay the crescent roll triangles on the baking sheet and sprinkle each with the brown sugar mixture.
- Add a few chopped pecans to each triangle for that nutty crunch.
- Place an apple slice on the wide end of each triangle and roll the dough around it.
- Brush each roll with the remaining melted butter, and for an extra pop of flavor, sprinkle a bit more apple pie spice on top.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the bites are golden brown and your kitchen smells amazing.
- Let them cool for about 5 minutes, then dig in!
Notes
Want to take these over the top? Serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzle some warm caramel syrup on top. You won’t regret it!
